I use watercolour for a variety of purposes: Paintings in their own right, drawings and studies from life. On this page there are examples of still-lifes laid across a table top. This allows me to study the exact colours of the flowers. Although they refer to botanical illustration aesthetically I'm interested in achieving a satisfying all-over design.
